Red Dragon understand the problems of Water Hammer. Whether the problem is domestic or industrial, Red Dragon can offer Water Hammer Arresters with sizes from 1/2" to 12". Our Arresters are extremey compact in design. The body has a diaphragm assembly. The damping effect is achieved by using compressed air to abosrb the deflection of the diaphragm when the shock wave strikes. Model P12 is 'L Style' configuration. The body ports form a 90 degree bend, and take the shape of an elbow. Model P13 is designed for domestic applications. The body is Nickel Plated Bronze. The Arrester has an isolation valve so that the equipment can be serviced. The P14 model is an 'I Style' configuration. The Arrester is connected to an inline 'T' Piece.
Models P12 and P14 are available threaded 1/2" to 2". PN16 flanged ports are available in sizes 2" to 12". ANSI and JIS flanges are also available upon request. Body materials are Bronze, Cast Iron, Ductile Iron or 316 Stainless Steel.
